Please mark your calendars for Saturday, January 17, 2015.
We’ve started plans to host our annual fundraising event to support the David Hunt Scholarship Initiative. Scholarship committee members will host the event under the distinguished patronage of Jamaican Ambassador to the United States, His Excellency Stephen Vasciannie.
This red-carpet event will be held in the elegant atrium of the National Education Association (NEA) building at 1201 16th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20036, USA. We will honor Bob Marley in recognition of what would have been his 70th birthday and his contributions to reggae music.

“The event was great. Only sorry I didn’t discover the dance studio until late in the evening. However, I was able to enjoy and it helped with getting ready for carnival in a few weeks. Thanks again for organizing for the local Jamaican community. I got to see old friends and meet some new “- A. Golding

The location, the food and the entertainment was planned and presented in an outstanding manner. I could go on and state how everyone looked but some may get jealous and I may get in trouble so I’ll leave it at that. I look forward to supporting you and your team in future events. A job done well.” -P. McLeod
